Giuliano Rodrigues is a Brazilian DJ, producer, and label curator whose work has become deeply rooted in the global Dub Techno scene. Active since the early 2010s, he is known for crafting immersive, atmospheric, and hypnotic soundscapes that blend deep rhythms, dub-infused textures, and minimalistic precision. His music is driven by patience, space, and emotion rather than trends, resonating strongly with listeners who value depth and longevity in electronic music. In 2012, Giuliano founded his first digital label, Flowing Movement Music, marking the beginning of a long-term vision not only as a producer but also as a curator. Through this platform, he released his own music while supporting and elevating other artists within the Dub Techno spectrum, helping to build a connected and organic underground community. During the pandemic period, Giuliano expanded his artistic universe by launching new projects and labels. In 2020, he introduced DUBGIU, followed by Afterdub in 2023, and later DUBLUCID in 2024 — projects focused on deep tech, deep house, minimal, and Dub Techno, each reflecting different facets of his sonic identity. Giuliano has released music on Lucidflow, the label founded by Nadja Lind and Helmut Ebritsch (Klartraum). The duo has also remixed his work, highlighting a relationship built on artistic respect and collaboration. Two of Giuliano’s tracks were played at the iconic Burning Man festival, and he later remixed Klartraum’s track “Manifestation”, which has surpassed 60,000 plays on Spotify. His work has also been featured by the influential YouTube channel GENTLEMAN, with over 400,000 subscribers. In a dedicated episode, the channel curated a one-hour set composed exclusively of ten tracks released by Giuliano under the DUBGIU project, while also adding two of his tracks to its top Spotify playlists. Beyond this, Giuliano has released music on Superordinate Dub Waves, founded by Nae:Tek, collaborating directly with the artist on multiple tracks. He has also contributed releases to Piranha Siberia Dub, further reinforcing his presence across respected Dub Techno imprints worldwide. With countless singles, remixes, compilations, and long-term projects dedicated entirely to Dub Techno, Giuliano has now centralized his complete catalog under a single umbrella: DUBLUCID.
